    I gave my Garmin to my work colleague to use to try maintain his pace. I ran up ahead for a quick interval and came back to run the rest of the way with them.

      It's very motivating to have someone to exercise with. I am fortunate to have two buddies who are interested in the same stuff as me. Trouble is they are both faster than me and often I have to work too hard to keep up. (Which may be a good thing after all)
