      Bob, in the late 1970's I knew an older couple who jumped into the running boom as many others did at the time. They were suddenly keeping logs and running races a lot. 6 months they were cardio fit with fallen arches, other injuries but that was ok with them. At least they were runners. In my exercise career I have changed things every so often guilt free. Looks like obstacle courses and tri's are my toys for 2014. -> 28 days to the next event. The pool, hills, weights, bike will see me again.

      Hashi, I sure do need a bell to complete my collection. I got a horseshoe at a race once. I did do a 10 mile XC with lots of water at that location in 2009.

      That first shower is BS. I'm clean! But they have it right there, so I give it a perfunctory spritz. But the one after, yeah, or I smell like chlorine for a week.

      Where I swim there is no chlorine smell. The system was changed a few years ago to something good.
