After managing to finish about half of the new decking on the back deck, I got on the bike for a short ride. It started kind of slow as I was tired from moving 16 foot pressure treated decking from the driveway to the back lawn for cutting and then onto the deck. They didn't seem all that heavy at first. But by 6:00 I felt like their weight had doubled. :-)
After about 15 minutes of spinning, my legs began to loosen up some and I could start to enjoy the ride. The plan was to ride for an hour and take whatever that gave me. I was able to get my cadence up to 96 and still feel half way decent. After an hour I still felt pretty good so I decided to hang on for another 30 minutes. I'm glad I did. Unlike last night, It felt really good to go for a spin tonight. I did get on the trainer before dinner tonight. That helped a lot.
One more day on the deck and it should be finished. So far, I like the way it's coming out. It's a good thing I guess because it's unlikely that I'll be doing it again. :-)
