Could keep my HR up at the border between Z3 and 4 continuously throughout, and fell into a good rhythm. Initial pace setting was helped by a guy just in front of me who maintained a steady pace, whom i just blindly followed, and consciously decided never to overtake until he slows down too much. Target was a 6:15 pace. Did comfortably close at 6:17. It finally feels like i'm back to running
