The name says it all. Snoozefest.

    good Castle

Weather was great (well, actually a bit toasty!) for another bike ride. ~22 miles

My toe is still purple but starting to feel better.

  3. VELO

I'm about 90% sure I broke a toe the other day, it's been very purple and very painful ever since. Sooo... to the bike!

alright Pine Line Marathon 26.2 mi 04:10 09:31 pace

Sooo, the tender hammy did not cooperate, nor did my Garmin.
First half was cloudy and readings would jump from 7:55 to 11:30 pace all in the same minute so I didn't know what I was doing.. (... read more

Last little run before the marathon, and the hammy is not happy... Soooo... we'll see what happens. Going to at least give it a try tomorrow, sans high hopes.

  6. RUN
    good 4 mi 00:36 09:00 pace

Uneventful run; however, when I arrived home my fat bozo of a cat was sitting on the sidewalk. My 'cool down' consisted of chasing him across the street and around the school.

Hikin' on the TM, heavy on the incline.
Figured it was best to stop at 1 mile to save myself the pain and embarrassment of being flung off the back of the machine. Tired!

Nice run, Rachel. Funny how a little less race day stress can make a run feel so much better. I know what you mean about the night noises. I assume every noise on my dark bike commutes is a bear rushing out of the woods!
