      Many people will never even get to run a marathon- especially just to qualify and finish- a worthy goal for sure! Running is supposed to be fun- let go of "doing well" and enjoy the run!

      I am not speedy like you, but I firmly believe there us huge merit it crossing the line of any marathon. I know that is not what you were hoping for, but even just having qualified and to be there is amazing. If you can try to enjoy that...? You are amazing Leo. Even if you don't feel it right now.       ..which i took as a good sign. now, the pain is getting under control, and it actually feels better the more i run, as long as i don't run fast, and i run carefully. so, i am gradually pushing it, to see if i can get more training in while keeping the pain down. if it increases i must back down obviously.
