our 4th week of Team EMC mountain biking.Today Kelly and LIsa were there so I had some company bringing up the rear. we are all getting better at handling the terrain and not getting off as much as we used to, my gear selectionn is also becoming more instinct and less thinking. I even made it up a couple of steep sections that some of the others got off on...I kept telling myself "be the goat, be the goat, BE THE GOAT DAMMIT!!!" I was very proud of myself when I made it and did not fall over despite feeling like I was going to. Never mind the fact, I had to go to Wyoming to get my Heart Rate back, but I did it. By the end it was harder to get up the hills my legs were spent and kept having to stop to catch my breath. It was fun, and feel like I am really improving and as Toni said "we are going to make a hill climber out of you", I think she's right.
