    Peak week in prep for the Martian Marathon this Saturday had me run pretty short today in comparison of the mileage I've been logging. Kinda felt like a warmup.

    it wasn't so much the wind today as it was the new sandblast finish I now have on my legs. Ouch.

    Scaled the side of Fox Mountain at nearly the halfway point. Thought we might make it to the tree line, but Jim decided we should cut things short

    Plan called for an easy seven. Funny that the first easy 2.5 was faster than yesterday's tempo despite telling myself to slow down. Got an important phone call and then walked the final 4.5.
