It was really really intense. I feel so durr right now haha. Lots of hanging around in demi-plie (like a half squat) with a ball between your knees and sitting up on the balls of your feet at the same time. Ouchyy. :)

Seperation anxiety from your running shoes, take off your work shoes and run on the spot for 5 sec (or more depends on work environment and embarrassment quotient) that should give you a wee rush and congrats first barefoot running session : )

I did the Warrior Dash back in March. The pictures with the fire and mud on my profile are from it. After you finish your run, there is much beer, giant turkey legs, live music, and dancing! I wish it was a yearly event here.

      Nice Job:

That's awesome to hear Kate! It is addicting. This is my fourth year running, and I still run because I absolutely love it. You never feel quite as good (and even if a bit beat up) and satisfied after a run. Keep it up!

Sounds like a great goal! But don't be surprised if that 10K turns in to a half-marathon or marathon by the time you get to 2014. My goal before I started C25K in February was to run a marathon sometime in the next eight years (before I turn 40), but I'm already thinking about doing one in the fall or next spring.

Awesome goal!! I agree with Beth. I did the C25K program last April and I am running my first 10K next weekend. I have started a half marathon training program and plan on running my first half in October, exactly one year after my very first 5K! You might be surprise yourself! I know when I started the C25K program I would've NEVER thought I would even consider running a half marathon! Good luck to you!
