    Almost forgot to post! Again!! 3.5 mi

    Early run B4 work, at work now for 12 hours blah.. See if I can squeeze some paid core work in ;)

    Zoning half MP on the TM. 6 mi 00:43 07:07 pace

    Half marathon session at the gym with my buddy Russ. Nice to go out for once in the evening, shame I could stop for a sauna but kiddies bed times stories were calling me.

      what he doesn't tell is that after 5 miles he asked me to run the last mile at 14.4km/hr with him. I only managed a third of it. I had run this morning with 2hrs of being beasted at Pilates, plus 12 reps of sprints thats my excuse. But even so he kept that pace up for 6 miles, way out of my league.

      Yay for Parkrun! We are getting one in Colorado and Washington DC now, but I'm super proud to live in a tiny town that had the first US park run, and I think I tell you this every time you do park run!

    Very Windy 7 mi

    Had to alter plan of 1mile x 7 repeats because of high winds, instead opted for a 7 mile fartlek. Tired after a couple of 12hr night shifts.

    Long run.. 12 mi

    Head & chest cold so I thought I'd split my run in half.. 6 miles steady to the gym then 6 miles on the TM at marathon pace. Smashed it. Followed by a sauna & steam.

    First mile easy then switch watch to average pace & see how much I can lower the Av Pace. Very windy! #ukrunchat

  12. I've had to take a few extra days off running. Three 12hr night shifts (little sleep) plus a cold have thrown me a tad! Back on it tomorrow.

    Run to the gym (6 miles) and finish with a 10k on the TM. Jacuzzi/sauna/ steam with a pal.

    4 hours sleep ain't enough! Still.. Beautiful running weather.. 7 miles steady, had to push in places up some hills.

    Evening run 6 mi

    Run back from the pool whilst kids have a swimming lesson, it's alright I haven't left them there! My wife's the teacher.

  18. Parkrun marshalling duties this morning, chilly but fun. Friendly encouragement for most a few stern words for some - some people need a kick up the arse ;)

    Running tights are out! A bit Brrr this morning. Loop & then onto gym for a sauna/steam & jacuzzi.

    Consistency required so I headed for the treadmill to zone my legs into the required pace for a sub 3.15 marathon. Chucked a few little inclines in, warm - still lots of January tottie in! ;)
