Well said Greg ... I have no doubt you do practice what you preach.

@Jim I am currently scolding Greg elsewhere for NOT being patient in his comeback. Oh the irony.

@Chaz, I'd debate whether it's impatience or just a different interpretation of base-building, but scolding acknowledged and accepted.

@Chaz, and we could also debate whether it's irony or something else, but I always get confused.

I was waiting for the bagels to arrive here at work before sitting down to read this, but the bagels were late getting here today, so I couldn't wait any longer. Good read.

Patience is a work in progress. Running teaches me that every time. Thanks for the reminder that I have probably bitten off more than I can chew in next weeks race:) TNF 100.

Good Stuff...goals will be hit but not all of them can be low-hanging fruit...otherwise what's the point.

Wise piece of advice. Something I have had to practice on this training cycle. I wanted to do more as things were going so well but knew that holding back was the better option.

Just finished your book. Now I am all amped up to run a sub 3 Mary and need to sign up for another marathon. Your book should come with a warning label :)
