  1. RUN
    alright TM @ Gym 8 mi 01:11 08:52 pace

Quick 8 on the TM. Ages since I ran at the gym - hot and stuffy, people working out in jeans!

  2. RUN
great Rolling roads of N Seattle... 14 mi 02:13 09:29 pace

Typical NW gray day, rained the whole way, but enjoyed every minute. Only runners get the appeal of running in these conditions :)

Sounds lovely!!! It doesn't rain much here, so when I can run in it, its such a treat!

  4. RUN
    good Tempo-ish TM Run 6 mi 00:54 09:01 pace

  5. RUN
    good 8 mi 01:16 09:27 pace

Shuffled along for the first 4, felt better for the last half. One year anniversary of my first 26.2!!!

good Seattle to Lake Forest Park a... 22 mi 03:38 09:54 pace

Long, flat run on the BG and alongside Lake Washington. Even caught a little sun towards the end. Legs tired from all the hills this week, thought I was done at mile 17, but recovered and picked up... read more

  7. RUN
    alright TM 8 mi 01:17 09:41 pace

Tired and super busy today, squeezed in a sluggish TM run with a few hills. Tried out VirtualActive (like indoor cycling video but for running) to kill the time. No substitute for the real thing bu... read more

  10. RUN
great Tour de North Seattle 12 mi 01:44 08:41 pace

Not really sure where this run came from. Had a lot of energy, barely felt hills that are normally a slog. Wish every run felt like this!

  11. RUN
good Burke Gilman 16 mi 02:33 09:35 pace

Nice zen run, light rain, cool breezes.

  12. RUN
great Hills for lunch 8 mi 01:14 09:17 pace

  13. RUN
    good Greenwood/Zoo/Greenlake 8 mi 01:18 09:44 pace

Kind of a slog today, but miles are miles and still happy I got out there!

  14. RUN
    great TM 4 mi 00:35 08:45 pace

Quick run on the TM. Felt like I was flying and I could run 100 miles today!! Always have crazy energy in the days after a race and the fatigue kicks in on week 2.

  15. RUN
good Recovery run, no watch 8 mi

Some easy miles around the 'hood. Legs felt fine, v sleepy today tho.

  16. RUN

Breathing was a little off, but perfect weather and a fun day!

  17. RUN
good Carkeek Trails 7 mi 01:09 09:50 pace

Nice drizzly rain, no traffic pollution, still struggling to breathe but felt great to be out there. Still on the fence about Sunday's race.

    • Cecilia

Great job for getting out anyway! I used to race sick all the time when my kids were small, it sucks before and after but not so much during the race, I'm sure you have more experience than me though in these matters! Take care!

good Happier on the TM 5 mi 00:44 08:48 pace

Just a few miles. Still hard to breathe, but better indoors with warm air and less pollution. Running always > not running, even when sick :)
