New route and a new running partner did this after a 45 minute speed work out on the fields so felt a little tired before setting off for this unplanned run but although I felt tired it went well

Good job mate, it's always good to have someone to run with, helps to get you out and push you a bit when running.

I have ran the Silverstone half four times Craig. It's a flat PB course, but not very scenic as you can imagine. I normally use it as a training run for the London Marathon. It's kind of fun running on the track. The weather plays havoc with that race though. I have run it in heavy rain, wind and hail as well as beautiful sunshine.

Good idea, I think some people get so used to ipod running they end up freaking out when they find out they aren't allowed in certain races.
