    I managed to get in an hour at a gym near my parent's house this morning, so I split it up and did 30 minutes of strength training and 30 minutes on the stationary bike.

      I haven't run the Dipsea trail but a friend of mine has. I've run the Ohlone trail though. There are lots of awesome trail runs in the Bay Area.

      I know what you mean. I've been changing my route up lately: turning around about half-way down Emeryville marina and then running some of the sidewalks near Public Market. It's not as scenic, but at least it isn't pitch black and deserted.
