great Bywood Soccer Field, Clawson, MI 3.5 mi 01:20 22:51 pace

Unless things change, this will be my last outdoor match for the fall season (makes 41 matches so far this fall). This was a U19G match that was easy. Pleasant afternoon in the late fall.

great Churchill High School, Livoni... 3.5 mi 01:20 22:51 pace

One of the last outdoor matches for the season. This was a U16G match on artificial turf and with a gusty wind (did I mention 32*?). All was ok throughout the match, but I am GLAD the season is ... read more

  10. One of several reasons that folks like Aaron Rodgers of the Packers. Great video. For those wondering that large body of water shown in several scenes is Lake Michigan. Thanks Aaron and Annie.

I've met Aaron a few times through work (the first during the controversy with Brett Favre's retirement/return/retirement/??). Stand up guy, always.

great Bloomfield Middle School Fiel... 3.5 mi 01:10 20:00 pace

U11B to wrap up the weekend. On the road at 5 a.m. tomorrow morning, so an early to bed is the 100% plan. Just getting into "shape" and the season is about to end. Need the next plan.

great West Hills Soccer Field, West... 3.5 mi 01:10 20:00 pace

Outside again and not too bad as the sun was out. Field was muddy and slick, but whatever. U13B and last of those for the weekend.

  13. FIT
great Total Soccer, Wixom, MI 3.5 mi 01:10 20:00 pace

U13G match inside with beautiful weather. Outside it is was 34*, so 72* was fine.

great Dodge V Park, Commerce, MI 3.5 mi 01:10 20:00 pace

U14B game start cold and drizzling. Ugh. Rain stopped along the way, but the cold might be here to stay.

Another match indoors (U13B) when the weather was really bad outside. The match was fine, but I needed to ask one coach to leave and do something else for the night. First one of those in a long... read more

Yeah! Finally an indoor match (U13G) and ugly weather occur on the same day. Temperature was a balmy 72*. No rain either.

  17. FIT
great Founders Park, Farmington, MI 3.5 mi 01:20 22:51 pace

Wrap up the day with a U19G match. Legs were dragging by the end. Sprints required some huffing and puffing. Now is Miller time and some football highlights. Long and good day.

  18. FIT
great Founders Park, Farmington, MI 3 mi 01:00 20:00 pace

Match #2 was a U12B which was pretty well played on the whole. More sun screen applied at the end of this as the sun was very bright. Two down and one to go.

  19. FIT
great Founders Park, Farmington, MI 3.5 mi 01:20 22:51 pace

U16F soccer match to start the day. Tried to avoid the sun as it was a bright fall day. Off to a quick start with more miles to go.

By far the best and hardest match to referee today. These lads are quick! Ready for some Saturday R&R as I have a full slate tomorrow, too.
