      Yay for new shoes! Weird question for you. Do you eat something that you ONLY eat before you run? I kind of forgot about this since I don't eat them anymore, but when I did Weight Watchers I bought their bars. They made me break out in hives and my eyes water/swell (didn't matter what flavor I tried). I always ate them before I worked out so I thought working out was causing it! Come to find out it's some ingredient in the bars (never figured it out). Making me itchy just thinking about it!

      @Michelle- Thanks lady! Hopefully the allergist will figure something out tomorrow. Its way not cool being paranoid the whole time i'm running!! Especially since on Saturday when this all happened my nose swelled up and I felt like my throat was getting scratchy and clogged...kinda scary!

      so proud of you sam! you've inspired me to try to get back into running here. it's SO DAMN HUMID in Missouri and I didn't bring my garmin. and the HILLS oh dear lord. they are NOT just burps in the road. but i have 3.5 weeks to get my 2 mi time down to 15:20 then I'm reading to tackle 13.1 training...for real this time ;)

      Samantha, let's get an O-town fun run set up again. Pace and distance do not matter. I am still working to get back in shape as well after taking time off mentally and physically. I'm sure Gavin would be down for it. Anyone else?

      SOOOO glad you've started running again! Just use it as "mindless" time....you know, when you let your mind go numb and think of nothing but the running and the scenery. I really want you to feel better so you can enjoy yourself when you come out here later this summer. Remember, you can always call me! ****hug****
