    I'm Thankful Four... 4.07 mi 00:36 08:57 pace

It seemed appropriate to spend some time on this run reflecting on some of the things for which I'm thankful. Near the top of the list is I'm thankful that God gave me the motivation to ... read more

Under the (nearly) full moon... 5.3 mi 00:48 09:06 pace

The moon was big and bright near the horizon as I started out, and the air was chilly. I warmed up within the first mile or so, and felt pretty good throughout this one. Nothing very eventful hap... read more

  8. RUN
    B'ville Turkey Trot 6 mi 00:53 08:45 pace

I always pick the 6 mile race on this one, so loop 1 is always pretty crowded, loop 2 is pretty well spread out, and loop 3 is a bit lonely, which I don't mind at all. Halfway through the 3rd... read more

Yay! You got a turkey. I love that race and the way it's a solo run by the last lap. It's a strange psychological challenge too the way all the 2 milers sprint by you on the first lap. It's hard to remind yourself that others are running shorter distances and you shouldn't feel bad being passed. I am so sorry I missed this race this year. But, I'm glad you made it out there and it will have only made you stronger for the Winter Series.

    Hot & Windy 4.2 mi 00:40 09:27 pace

Where did all the cool weather go? The wind hit me going up the first long hill and then the heat hit me when the wind died off. Kind of a bleh run overall, but better than no run at all.

  15. RUN
Into the darkness... 4.26 mi 00:40 09:17 pace

OK, the title is a little melodramatic, but the run began in daylight and ended up in the dark. Great evening for a run!

  16. RUN
    Dawn in the N'hood 3.32 mi 00:31 09:12 pace

The eastern sky was just beginning to light up with color as I headed out into the n'hood on this one. Quiet and cool made for an enjoyable run.

Nice cool run through the 'hood just as it was beginning to turn dark.
