      Great work hitting your pace for 6! I think you could have handled one more based upon how you rounded out the workout but the most important part is that you did 3 miles of intervals just slightly under your goal race pace and walked off the track feeling good. Hopefully this gives you confidence and shows you what you are capable of doing Saturday!!! Again, EXCELLENT job!

    Apparently a couple days off does a Beagle good! Ran into a friend on the bike path and 5 miles turned into 6.4 with a water stop for Beag at halfway, but he/we did it and feel pretty good about it!

      woot, woot. Sounds like a workout I would do! How did the tempo portions feel? It should be a pace that you can sustain for awhile, feeling relaxed. I'd keep tempo smack on 6:30 pace with goal race pace of 6:00/min mile.
