    This was only a training run but hugely encouraging as I ran it at what I thought was my current race pace. In the end I finished only 28 seconds slower than my race PB. Really pleased.

    Quick 6 miles and push-ups at dawn. Sunrise obscured by clouds but a pleasant morning none the less.

      I'd definitely call it a quick 6 :). I guess you can't have that awe inspiring scenery every morning now can you? Makes you appreciate it more that way. Nice job soaking it in!

    Lovely run this one. Beautiful sunrise over the sea. My pace seems to be coming back which is a bonus. Push-ups in the shadow of Bamburgh castle. Getting stronger!

      Nice, Just take the chances you get for running. you are making the right priorities to put the kids first. Before you know it they are 20 and about to leave home. By then you have forgotten how tired you were and will miss the time when they were small.
