    Yes. Visitors from another gym came by and I was treated to 16 rounds of sparring with three different people. Best day ever!

      Sounds like a great time. Do boxers ever get hurt during sparring? Or is it understood that one shouldn't try to flatten the other?

      Sparring is usually very safe and controlled. Most boxers repect one another during sparring to not go all out and kill the other guy. If you hurt all of your sparring partners, you will quickly run out of teammates who will work with you. Sometimes there are injuries. I have had a few bloodied noses and a few black eyes, but nothing really serious.
