  1. RUN
alright Lime Pits to test Achilles 6.7 mi

Slow run to test out my left Achilles after a week's rest. Arboretum lake, Lime Pits and canal. Not too painful during run or after, so good news.

  2. RUN
    injured Achilles fail 1 mi

Achilles still a bit sore after yesterday's tweak and got rapidly worse. Gave up after less than a mile and walked back.

Left Achilles was sore, so I cut it short and came back via the track at back of Smestow School. Achilles has been a bit achey all week - maybe due to walk up Long Myndd last Sunday?

  16. RUN
    blah LVSR 10 mi

Managed to get round our 10 mile route but very slowly due to sore right hamstring. Arboretum lake, Lime Pits, Hayhead Wood, Barr Beacon.

  17. RUN
injured Perton route fail 6.2 mi

Top of right hamstring felt a bit sore to start and got worse. Turned back at Perton lights. Kept running most of the way but had to stop and walk a couple of times near the end. Not great.

Hoping that this is just muscular - if so, ferocious massage should do the trick. I found that releasing tension in the glutes (by poking around and pummeling anything that hurt) and stretching out hamstring/adductor/glutes/sacral areas knocked my tight hamstring into touch,
