      Watch those turkeys! A priest at my church used to have a family summer cottage in upstate NY and once when they were staying there, she went for a run and was attacked by turkey! Who knew??? Sounds like you encounter was a lot more pleasant - nice run, Mike.

      Best to go by feel everyday, impulse power, instinct, take her slow and enjoy the run. When I wake up I am hesitant and unsure, and don't want to do anything right away, so you did good going right into for a run.

    Something odd happened as I tried to skirt around an approaching cold windy storm. My front tire got low and I thought I had a leak. Could it have been the freezing temperatures?

      Good ride! When the temperature outside the tire changes, it will affect the pressure inside the tire. In the fall, the colder weather will significantly lower your tire pressure.

    The trails at Quarry Lakes are hard as concrete due to the current drought conditions. Solo long run was difficult.
