Crazy busy work day left me with a quick hour for a workout. Tried to maximize it with an interval spin sesh.

good Happy TM run 6.25 mi 01:00 09:35 pace

Another easy TM run today. Felt so good...I desperately wanted to keep going like my friend, Nina, who cranked out at least 2 hrs, while I was lifting, then running myself. Add to that, the guy nex... read more

You will get back at it in no time, Chris! The beginning always sucks, but then it all comes back to you after a couple of weeks at it. Hope now you don't feel any pain on the knee. Note to self: must keep your kit in my gym bag so when I see you again I can give it to you!

good Sunday at the gym 01:15

More cold, wet weather today so it was yet another gym day for this gal. Solid strength & core session precede by some painful, yet effective foam rolling.

  4. swim
    2000 m 00:42 33:23 pace

OMG, the pool at the gym was so cold but, I got it done despite that.

bah! why on earth would they keep it super cold? i'll never understand. there is a perfect pool temp - about 80-82 - which I think every pool needs to understand and just go with it. clearly!

  8. VELO
    18 mi 01:00 18.0mph pace

More spinning. Still laying off running for the time being, so it was another day of spinning for me today.

  9. swim
    alright Mini swim 1000 m 00:20 32:11 pace

Just a brief swim after spinning. Part of me was wishing I'd had more time so I could swim longer, part of me was fine w/ this shortie b/c my arms just felt tired.

    • Jeff L.

Usually at the 20 min mark, I have a moment of "I could stop now easily." But then I think--I have more to give and I didn't drive here and get wet in this stinky chlorine for just 20 minutes. So I mush forward regardless. 45 minutes minimum every time. Tired or not.
Not sure if this is motivational or not. Just sharing, I guess.
