  1. VELO
    Sunset ride 18.69 mi 01:02 18.2mph pace

Still over 100 degrees when I finally got out the door for this short ride at 6:45pm. Crazy hot but totally manageable when the sun is going down, and you're only out for an hour.

  2. swim
    Morning swim 0.88 mi 00:31 35:13 pace

Morning swim before all day work meetings.

  3. RUN
good Brick run in the HEAT 6.03 mi 00:48 08:01 pace

Because our start time got pushed to 8:30AM, by the time we started this run after riding it was HOT - 96 degrees hot! We decided on a route that allowed us to refill our water bottles at mile 2 an... read more

good Sunday AM ride after the rain 52.1 mi 03:07 16.7mph pace

Our start time for today's brick got pushed back 1.5 hrs due to an early morning thunderstorm. Gerryl & I kept the pace moderate which felt just fine. We went N up to Celina then came back... read more

  5. VELO
Very easy leg flush 16.24 mi 01:07 14.5mph pace

Super easy early evening leg flush before settling in for more college FB. I love fall Saturdays!

I was thinking of you today hoping you got out early as mine was much later and brutal. Good run!

Jeff - I'm doing a brick tomorrow but it won't be nearly as long as yours was today....that's the beauty of training for 70.3 vs 140.6!! :)

  8. swim
good Shortie swim before work mtgs 1.4 km 00:31 35:22 pace

Beautiful morning for a swim. Gerryl bailed on me but it was all good because I really only had 30-min to do this before getting back to my desk for a bunch of meetings. Yay for it being Friday!!!!

  9. swim
Late day swim 1.17 mi 00:43 36:32 pace

Late day swim with GK at the PCR pool. Work is kicking my ass so I struggled through quite a bit of this because I'm flat out mentally, and physically, tired. Even so, I was glad I did this.

  10. FIT
    good Strength Circuit 00:30

Trying to get back my upper body strength!

  11. FIT
    Reformer Pilates 01:10

Reformer Pilates session. The other gal in my class didn't show up so I had a private session which was awesome!!

  12. RUN
    Run Interrupted 3.51 mi 00:32 09:07 pace

Late day run that, in hindsight, clearly was t meant to happen. At 2 miles in I had to do an about face and get back home ASAP. Work is nuts right now and that needed to take precedence over this run.

  13. VELO
    good Morning 50, that didn't feel ... 50.5 mi 02:57 17.1mph pace

Beautiful sunny, muggy morning for a ride. Met up with Gerryl & Elaine just before sunrise for 20 through Del Webb and Tribute, then back to Elaine's to drop her off, before heading N to F... read more

Work is nuts right now, crazy busy - in a good way - but nonetheless nuts! So nice to break away late in the day for this easy solo ride. It was a balmy "feels like 99" and sunny but it f... read more

good Disco Oly Tri - RUN 6.1 mi 00:48 07:55 pace

So fortunate to have those running legs/lungs/heart. To be able to rev it up on the third leg of the tri is so awesome. And sub-8 is even more awesome. Great surge at the end to get 2nd. You've really pushed Gerryl along--I hope she's enjoying it and keeps pushing herself to new heights. Sounds like you're approaching your pre-Cozy form and ability.

good Disco Oly Tri - BIKE 23.19 mi 01:15 18.6mph pace

After a decent T1, I hopped on my bike and headed out. I was feeling pretty good even though the roads are chip seal the whole way, so that's not awesome. I was passing a fair amount of people... read more

Great pace. And it's a good thing we're used to chipseal. Sounds like a good ride if you were passing people (this keeps me focused--just have to balance it with what power/HR I'm "supposed to be" in.

It's a huge win. Getting faster is one thing, but the mental game can take that all away in a heartbeat. So yay for you just making this routine. (And getting faster in the swim is just so hard, not sure I ever will--good thing it's the shortest).
