    Late day swim with GK at the PCR pool. Work is kicking my ass so I struggled through quite a bit of this because I'm flat out mentally, and physically, tired. Even so, I was glad I did this.

      So fortunate to have those running legs/lungs/heart. To be able to rev it up on the third leg of the tri is so awesome. And sub-8 is even more awesome. Great surge at the end to get 2nd. You've really pushed Gerryl along--I hope she's enjoying it and keeps pushing herself to new heights. Sounds like you're approaching your pre-Cozy form and ability.

      Great pace. And it's a good thing we're used to chipseal. Sounds like a good ride if you were passing people (this keeps me focused--just have to balance it with what power/HR I'm "supposed to be" in.

      It's a huge win. Getting faster is one thing, but the mental game can take that all away in a heartbeat. So yay for you just making this routine. (And getting faster in the swim is just so hard, not sure I ever will--good thing it's the shortest).
