Heavy rain and wind during the night so the forest was a bit of a mess. Pre dawn start with the big trees creaking in the wind. I kept my fingers crossed that nothing would fall on my head. The wea... read more

The numbers don't lie. This is my best trail run since I started back, and it felt like it too. Felt strong all the way to the end.

I was running the beach just as the sun broke the horizon. The solar rays on the back of my neck felt wonderful. What a great start to the day. I love running this route early on a Sunday morning.

We had thunder too. I'm heading back out there this afternoon in the rain and I really hope that I have a better time today than I did yesterday. I should think about getting into the trails on days like this because then at least it would be a bit more fun. I'm glad you got that in this morning! Have a good Saturday!!!

You should be fine today, Suzy. Your shit locker should be well cleaned out from yesterday. It's beautiful sun here now, but a bit windy. I got the car out and took Heather for a cruise through Oak Bay and along the water to our favorite fish and chip spot for a late lunch. Turned out to be a great spring day after all.
