I didn't take a Garmin so I wouldn't worry about pace, but I did bring a camera and made some trail art. It's nice to slow down and take a look around for a change.

UGH. Hope it gets better soon. The worst time I ever rolled my ankle was just like that. I heard it, rolled, but never went down. Unfortunately I was 3 miles from the car so I just ran it out because I was worried if I didn't get moving I would stiffen up and never get going again. I was sure I would have major swelling and bruising later but had nothing. It was the weirdest thing.

Morning paddle again with Mrs. G. I got caught down wind as the breeze came up so I had to work to get back. Finished with a good sweat and a well worked core.
