    I was a bit tired but the air was surprisingly fresh so I headed out for a short run.
    I still feel this ache/pain in my leg so I cut it short hoping it will pass.

      Lean towards paranoid for a while. Then, as you work through it, you'll be able to decide if it makes more sense to go ahead and push based on whether the pain is getting worse. That's what's always worked for me, anyway. In my 58 years I have had to deal with a lot of injuries - some required complete rest for a long time, others I could run through. And every time, there was an element of guesswork in the decision, I'm afraid....

    and evening hike to Montevecchia.
    We had a delicious dinner and I learnt how to use trekking poles which might be quite useful in the future.

    which means that in this weather bike is a better option. Still it's f***ing hot but at least you feel less miserable.

      This is my hardest time of the year to run, too. I was having a great run for my first 3 miles but then that 75 °F (24 °C) temperature just started kicking me down! Great job running through it in your part of the world, Hannah!

    After my 10k I took a shower and biked with Francesco. We had lunch and biked back. It was so hot we stopped at least 3 times and drank an impressive amount of water. It was fun.

    I wasn't sure if i wanted to run this distance today. It was hot and I was tired but hey sometimes you have to go with the flow.
    Small victories that are not that small on my way to recovery.
