That was easily the hardest course I have ever run on! But 5th place? I'll take it :)
I went out with Andy one other guy (who turned out to be running the 50k), but in the first 1/2 mile, I backed off and let him go. Spend the next 7 miles being passed by 4 women one at a time. But kept my pace and climbed the last (omg, I could barely walk up that b1th) hill, and met Andy just before the finish, who had gotten lost. I turned on the sprint, and he either couldn't, or didn't want to so I won men and hit 5th overall.
