Planned on running my weekly marathon this morning. Then I kept going and going like the energizer bunny... he he Besides this morning was so beautiful! As I ran East I saw the rays of sun beaming and then after about 4 miles I turned around and notice one of the most amazing rainbows I have seen in a longtime. WOW! What a way to start the day. As I ran at Power Rd and Southern there was another running on the other side of the road that I was trying to catch, but he was a great runner and he just challenged me to run a lil faster for approximately 2 miles which was great. I said hey as we came to a light and he went a different direction. Then at Higley it began to sprinkle a lil bit and I start doing a lil rain dance hoping for more. he he As I got to mile 11 I began thinking why not just do 16 miles and then I went for it... I'm so glad that I did. New shoes are doing pretty good too, 24 miles and counting. :)

It's the run I'm training for. The Charleston Distance Run. It's 15 miles, 5-6 of which are hills. It's in WV...way far from you!

Nice job, indeed. And what an amazing morning it was!! I had hoped to get out for my run a bit earlier, but I was having some trouble syncing up my iPod this morning which caused a delay in my start time... however, i did enjoy the sunshine and sprinkles... no rainbows for me, though. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the great work!
