  1. RUN
great Eramosa Karst 10 km 01:06 10:38 pace

Warmup to do a loop of Eramosa Karst, where I ended up not where I thought I was...then 4x60 sec repeats of Old Albion Rd hill, which went fantastically, as each repeat I went further down the hill... read more

interesting strategy to go further down the hill and still maintain 60 seconds up. nice work out there!

@barb The first repeat I just guessed at how far I'd have to go down from the top for 60 sec and it was about 58 sec back up. So that's why I kept going further down but I'd still keep getting to the top in 60.

  2. RUN
    Penis Loop 8.05 km 01:14 14:42 pace

Easy recovery run, wearing the new Topo MT2 shoes that I bought at the expo. The sales guy said that the heels have been improved to shed mud and I definitely found that to be true, I didn't ... read more

Nice looping! i wear my Topos on alternate days and find them best on the grass, but have learned how to run in them on road. It's just that you get used to how they feel. I think they feel kind of hard on the road, but that's because I took the insole out.

  3. RUN
Cambridge to Paris Rail Trail 30 km 03:27 11:07 pace

Ah, sweet redemption. First 14K with Alison. My Achilles was hurting a lot at the beginning, far worse than yesterday, but then I dipped my foot into cold creek water and it was like a miracle cu... read more

  4. RUN
    DNF 4.92 km 00:35 11:17 pace

My legs felt like shit, Achilles started hurting, I was having trouble hitting the pace and I was near having a panic attack from anxiety so called it quits.

  5. RUN
ATB Friendship Run 3 km 00:19 10:02 pace

Easy shakeout with John Stanton before going back to the ATB expo, where I saw Spence D.

Wow, I saw Stanton there and my brain went "click, click" and came up empty. Now I know who it was. Sorry I didn't see either of you there! Nice run.

  6. RUN
    Bronte Creek 6 km 00:45 12:01 pace

The goal today was to keep my wonky ankle happy by avoiding technical stuff, so it can heal up a bit.

    Red Hill/beach 10 km 01:03 10:04 pace

Spent yesterday afternoon and evening in compression sleeves, and cut today's planned 12K to 10 and was rewarded with much fresher legs. 5x30 sec hard/easy fartlek.

  9. RUN
    Borer's Falls 9 km 01:17 13:51 pace

Legs were really tired despite the rest yesterday, so this run kinda sucked. Too bad, it could have been great, with the lovely weather and all..

Well, you've been really doing a lot. I think I'd just think about how lovely it was and try to ignore the rest!

    Crawford Lake 18.1 km 03:00 15:57 pace

  11. RUN
    Dundas Valley 12.87 km 01:50 13:48 pace

  15. RUN
    Kerncliff 8.05 km 01:20 15:58 pace
