      As long as you know for sure the way is clear...I've had some bad scares where I thought the crossing was clear and then suddenly a car came from nowhere. I don't know how this happens but paranoia must rule....

      I'm so sorry to hear you fell - and I get the shock/dizziness - it's amazing what a load of stress hormones dumped into the bloodstream will do. When I broke my wrist I couldn't even get to my feet for a while because I felt too dizzy to get up. There will be other hills and other races - take care of your ankle and yourself!

      ☺ oh yes the tailwind…happened to me on Saturday when I was running. Nice when it’s at your back but a real pain when you’re fighting it on the way back with little energy in the tank. I’m impressed that you found motivation after doing half yesterday. Good for you.

      you got out there and finished! That's something to be proud of. I think it's an art to learn the appreciation to just be running and not judge yourself for taking time to run "leisurely"- nothing wrong with changing it up. I am sure if you trained for a faster pace, you would have nailed it!
