      Yikes! My companions were being eaten alive by deerflies when I was hiking in the woods today but they left me alone for reasons unknown. What an amazing long run today!

      Swarms are no fun...I rode through crazy swarms along the parkway last week. People running and biking were shielding faces and eyes, it was hilarious. I hate when they bounce off your body while riding, it hurts! Anyway. Excellent miles with side of bugs. ;)

      B's school is too far for him to walk, it's almost 5K away. He rides the bus, unless we are having a lazy morning, and then I drive him.

      I used to walk 4k+ but that was grade 7-8. Hated the bus so much I was happy enough to walk for 40 minutes each way.
