      ejecting the pulp is kind of the point of the juicer...which is why I think I would be blowing money on fruit and veg, apparently it takes a huge amount to get a small cup of juice?

      Yeah, I was doing apples. I had a regular size shopping bag full of apples, put it in the juicer, and got 1.5 cups of juice and about 2 qts of pulp.

    Thank goodness for icespikes! Icy and hard to see the rocks in the dark, even with the headlamp, so I just did the Penis Loop and then did the section north of Dundas, that was much better running.
