  1. RUN
good Dundas Valley 12.01 km 01:26 11:30 pace

Introduced Greg to the trail wonders in DVCA. Most of the trails were packed snow but one (Homestead) was ankle deep, wet fresh snow and my calves did not like that. Otherwise, I'll keep sayi... read more

good Do Yoga With Me - pre-run 00:20

  6. RUN
great RBG - Cootes Paradise 7 km 00:50 11:22 pace

Decided to take a chance on the trails. It was mostly crunchy snow and not too slippery at all. I actually find this winter trail running to be easier than summer - if I can't see any hazard... read more

  7. RUN
great RBG - Hendrie Valley 6.7 km 00:44 10:39 pace

Surprisingly speedy, given the snow covered trails! The packing snow actually had good traction and I'm sure I was risking my life and ankles by running fast, but all went well. Beautiful snow... read more

  11. RUN
    good 11/12/14 5.6 km 00:33 09:35 pace

It was windy, but I think headwind on the bike sucks more than headwind while running. Please remind me of this in the middle of January.

  12. VELO
    great 11/11/14 22.37 km 00:58 14.3mph pace

Well, the unusually warm and gorgeous day happened, so I took Audrey out and we got our lurve on the small chainring on Northshore.

  13. RUN
good BT - Guelph Line 6.44 km 00:58 14:27 pace

What a gorgeous day! My first run in a week, and my calves weren't 100%, but definitely not as unhappy as they've been before the break. The first 1.5K are really hilly and technical but... read more

  14. FIT
    great TRX Basic Training 00:36
I loved the 20 minute DVD that came with my TRX, but B broke the DVD player on my laptop. This workout is very similar, great progression and regressions!

  15. FIT
    good Moksha Yoga Dundas 01:00

Hot yoga class at Moksha Dundas. Moksha is the only studio that gets the hot temperature right - I haaaate when it's only hot enough to get you sticky sweaty - it has to be hot enough that yo... read more

  16. VELO
    alright Spruce 21.69 km 00:59 13.7mph pace

Unless there is a random warm day, I think outdoor cycling is finito for 2014, because holy hell, that was cold. Fortunately I managed to avoid full headwind except for 2K.

I used to ride to work through everything, blizzards, ice storms, you name it, about 10 years ago at my last job. I was far more afraid of the traffic than the weather.

  17. walk
    great 11/6/14 5.62 km 01:29 25:26 pace

A hike on BT through King's Forest with Beth. I chose technical trail that I would not be tempted to run.

  18. VELO
    great 11/5/14 28.38 km 01:21 13.1mph pace

Was going to ride on Spruce but when I felt the wind, I decided to ride on the beach path instead and that was the right choice, as I only had to deal with full headwind for the final 3K. Finally ... read more

Practice in front of a mirror. I found that when I stuck a smile on my face when I didn't feel like it, it looked *so* phony I wouldn't have bought a used car from myself.
