good Home TM 6.21 km 00:40 10:21 pace

I wanted to run trails today, but I'm too much of a wuss to deal with cold, wind and rain misery. Did 10/1s on the TM while laughing my ass off at the entire playlist of Potter Puppet Pals. ... read more

  3. RUN
    good MAF test - 1 month 5 km 00:31 09:50 pace

Baseline MAF - 5K in 31:00. So there is a small but definite improvement. Home treadmill has been stopping randomly, but only when Greg is on it.

I feel weird taking a rest day on Monday, but I ran a LOT over the weekend and this was the break my body needed.

  5. RUN
    great High Park/Humber River 15.43 km 01:42 10:41 pace

Thank you Jana P. for keeping me company. It was the perfect way to escape the family Christmas dinner, far more fun and less stressful than attending the dinner!

  6. RUN
    great Spruce 16.25 km 01:41 09:58 pace

First time running with Sam J. (or anyone, really!) in a loooong time. Only 2 very short HR spikes to 150 and it was very easy to bring back down. Lovely running weather and nice to still be in ... read more

  7. RUN
great RBG - Cootes Paradise 8.05 km 00:57 11:23 pace

I was going to try some new trails today, but with the fresh snow, I decided to go somewhere familiar. Lovely sun on the fresh was almost hot at the top of hills with no tree cover.

Patty...the roads here were a mess with slush and I'm a klutz. I was slipping all over the place just walking between where my trainer is and the Y. Great temperature though.

Nice one! Glad you're feeling a bit better. Maybe you just aggravated a your planter facia or something from wearing the heels - I've done that wearing work shoes when most of the time I get away with running shoes. Took me a few days for it to go away. As long as it's nothing serious! :)

Oh I was really lost. Spent 10 min turning in circles in the forest. But then I got un-lost.
