Ooh, I know that one. I still have bad dreams about when I stubbed my toe. It turned totally purple two weeks before my first marathon a couple of years ago.

Congrats on the blister free run! Hope the toe feels better soon. Sometimes good things come out of adversity. I stubbed my toe once on a tree root during a triathlon, fell down and rolled, I blew it off, didn't slow down, and finished 3rd. (Found some ice for it as soon as the race was over, hahaha)

You are amazing! I am thinking of adding some BF in to my regimen...I am not soooo patient...the whole starting off so painfully slow...scares me...thinking adding it in after easy shorter runs may be my only way to do this!

Wildflower, soon enough you'll be laughing and saying "why didn't I start running barefoot sooner". Your are right on about taking it slow.
