Ran 3.17 miles today with Malek around campus. 41 degrees out and misty. If felt soooo much colder than that tho, I could actually see my breath and moisture froze on my eyelashes! However, after a mile I felt much warmer. Mile 3 was harder since half of it was uphill. 1st mile 9:30, 2nd miles 10, last 1.17 miles about 12:30. I actually felt really good after this run, hopefully I can keep it up!


I think you will be able to....you can also try slowing down that first mile, and then gradually picking up speed on the tail end; that way your legs have a chance to warm up before being worked hard.
