This morning was Day 1 of The Shred! Since boot camp is no more we needed another program and all my girls are talking about this one. I was actually winded after the first 5 mins. Not bad

Had to run indoors on the tredmill due to the constant rain the past 2 days. It was agonogizing!!! Only ran 2.5 but I much prefer to run outside where the scenery changes. Ran the first 2 miles in 19:48 (9:54 min/miles).

Overall, how are those boot camps treating you? I know my actualbboot camp was only six weeks but I came out of it feeling great! I think added to that was that cars and bikes were non-existant so walking everywhere was key.

i like it, but the instructor is kinda flakey...our 2 months have had interrupted classes...so not sure I'm feeling the full effect. if we can go 4 weeks without a class being cancelled then I'll let you know!

Christina ran 3.1 miles in 31 mins goodDell loop – 3.1 mi / 00:31 10:04 pace
Malek and I ran around Dell campus during lunch. Not too shabby either! The weather was perfect, 57 degrees and overcast. First 2 miles in 19:45, last 1.1 miles in 11:30. We actually might have run more than 3.1 miles, I'll need to map it out.

I think you will be able to....you can also try slowing down that first mile, and then gradually picking up speed on the tail end; that way your legs have a chance to warm up before being worked hard.
