Lots of good info here! My ITBS went away after I changed from a shoe with some stability to a full neutral cushioned shoe. Mid foot running is the most efficient and will help prevent injury. In fact Newton shoes are developed around this concept. They are super expensive but I've never met anyone that tried them that didn't rave about them. I've never tried them as they come in a standard D width and I have a 4E foot!

It actually looks like your left foot isn't changing much, where the right one is clearly heel striking less. Which side do you mostly have problems with? (My strike pattern and gait is very similar to yours)

DM is a social platform for sure. I've met, through this site, people who I now consider friends and have become running/training partners with. You'll find that motivation and inspiration you speak of all over this site.
