  7. I had a dream that I showed up 20 minutes late to the start of a race. Traumatizing. Has this happened to anyone before? Either the dream or in real life.

      Yes....7min late to Turkey Trot one year due to babysitter issues! I ran really fast trying to catch up and would have had a PR, but officially, my time was 7min slower. That was before chip timing:)

      Wow! I hadn't thought about that! I guess if the race is using chip timing then you can show up however late you want, right?

      couple years ago I was 9min late to the Wichta Half and by the time i got therethey had rolled up the starting line(one of the first chip timings). My garmin said 1:39:xx not a pr...the offical results was 1:49:xx
