      We basically ended up doing our normal arm stuff with those foam "weights" while standing in about chest-height water, then a few laps with the kickboards. Do you have any better suggestions? I felt like it was a decent arm workout, but not quite the same as doing squats, deadlifts, etc.

      Yeah - I haven't run that fast in quite a while. I haven't really been doing any speed training, so it has to be from lifting.

    Tough workout today - used the Gravitron (assisted pull-up) machine for the first time, which made me realized how very, very far I have to go in achieving my goal of doing an unassisted pull-up.

    Managed to squeeze in a run between work, daycare pickup, and an early dinner with my husband before he went back to work for the evening. Kind of a hassle, but WORTH IT!
