This was my final leg (Leg 25) and I was really pumped for this one. I should note that this was almost completely down hill which is why my pace was so fast but I'll give myself some credit too and say I crushed this one!!! It started around 5:50 am and according to the race bible was supposed to be 3.9 miles however I after talking with some other people who ran this leg with a Garmin they said it was more like 3.4.
I have to say this was one of the best race experiences of my life!! I couldn't recommend this race more highly!!! I really have to thank my wonderful teammates some of them are one here but I'm too dumb to understand how to link to them, Clem, Cristy, Kelly, Kim, Jeni, Mike, Shannon, Kelly, MIchelle, Karen, and Kelli as well as Our awesome drivers and volunteers Scott, Vicki, and Kathy!!! A special thanks again to Clem George for organing everything and being such a great captain!!! Can't wait to do this again next year!!!
