June 20-July 3, I soloed the JMT, summiting Whitney almost exactly 13 days after I began at Happy Isles. The highs were incredible, and the lows equally incredible, but relatively few and quickly forgotten! Thanks to the spirit of John Muir, friends who helped with resupply and to many strangers who helped with such generosity.
