Sorry about the trouble, Yogesh, but congratulations on finishing the marathon in spite of all this.

That said, a 5:24 FM is something that I would be proud of, if I could do it :-)

BTW, how did you walk 6 km in half an hour? Typo?

One way is one lap. Get kick board and pull buoy. Do 10 laps warmup, 6 laps kicks, 6 laps pull and 4 laps cool down. When we add variety, we are able to swim more laps

Thanks Gayathre. Got it, so one time forward and one time backward = 2 laps. what exactly do you do during the 10 lap warm-up, Free-style swimming? What do you do during the 6 lap pulls - just hand motion alone without kicking? Finally, what is cool down? Can you please help with a little bit more information? BTW: Hope your open ocean swimming is progressing along well.

It's not unfortunate. This is the case with most of runners. I think on a TM, there is thing propelling us and on road we need to push ourselves. Plus we don't go anywhere unlike road where we keep moving. The strides vary on road but on a treadmill - most of the time it is the same. So running fast on TM than road is common. This is what i feel. I might be wrong.
