    Wow, it was hot! And I still have this flu that I've had since last Sunday. Given the conditions, I'm super happy with the results although I really wanted to finally break 3 hours. Next time!

      I felt ok during the run and actually thought that I might have kicked this thing. It got me back once I got home though. Resting a lot this afternoon.

    2.5 mile warmup. 4 mile tempo at marathon pace plus/minus 5 seconds. Ran a tad fast, but felt pretty easy. Not sure I can keep up 6:43 pace for 26.2! 2.5 mile cooldown.

    2.5 mile warmup at Lake Miramar. Had to then go to Fiesta Island because we couldn't see! It was too dark. Another .5 warmup. 5 mile tempo @ 6:34 pace. 2.5 mile cooldown

      Thanks all :) Next up: Chicago on 10/10/10. I felt SLOW today as my usual training partner absolutely smoked me in the last few miles. With the race last weekend it's been an intense week, so I'm happy with it. I'm on track.
