  1. RUN
    2.21 mi 00:20 08:54 pace

Some nice recovery miles. Felt great once I got going. First mile was a little slow but I did stop and walk so I could talk to a friend walking his dog for a minute. Second mile was about 8:35 pace!

  2. RUN
    42 mi 12:00 17:08 pace

I ran further and longer today than I ever have before. This wasn't a race. It was an organized run called River 2 River 2 River. It starts by dipping your toes into the Connecticut River at t... read more

  4. RUN
    4.2 mi 00:34 08:08 pace

I woke up last night with a cramp in my hamstring and suddenly my hip doesn't feel as tight. I don't know how to explain that. I felt pretty good. I changed up my route a little. I was tr... read more

    4.08 mi 00:34 08:22 pace

I ran around Whiting Reservoir and the weather was perfect. I took it easy on this run because my hip has been a little tight but I felt pretty good after taking the last two days off. I hope this ... read more

It's a group run from the Oxbow to the Westfield River along the M&M trail and back. It's Fat Ass style and not really a race. You can join if you want. We start at 5:00 am and there is about 10 - 12 of us.

Sounds fun, I was sure you meant to type "ride".....haha! Thanks, I'd like to but trying to take it easy running, have an ankle issue & trying physical therapy to fix it, hence why I am riding so much.....want to do a 50k in the Spring in CT (Barkhamstead) and want it healed. Have fun though, sounds great!!

  6. VELO
    33.11 mi 01:47 18.5mph pace

I rode up Granville Road in Southwick and into Connecticut and then back via the bike path. I have been avoiding Granville Road for a while but it wasn't anywhere near as difficult as I rememb... read more

  7. RUN
    4.2 mi 00:34 08:00 pace

Not bad for early Monday morning especially since my first mile was 9:37! I felt good (after the first mile)

  8. RUN
    13.5 mi 01:59 08:50 pace

It sucks getting up really early on a weekend but I feel so accomplished having finished 13.5 miles by 8:00 am. I was aiming for 13-14 miles in 2 hours and I hit it almost perfectly. Lots of hills.... read more

    17.89 mi 01:01 17.7mph pace

I rode to Florence Center and back. I saw a raccoon running around on Easthampton Road. I assume since it was daytime that it was rabid. It looked like it went into someone's garage. Great ride.

  10. VELO
    15.53 mi 00:51 18.2mph pace

Fastest ride home yet (time wise). Beat my previous record by almost a minute. Felt good. Legs tired.

  11. VELO

Ride to work. Almost exactly the same time as yesterday.

  12. RUN
    4.21 mi 00:34 08:05 pace

Never judge a run by the first mile. I almost turned around after an uncomfortable 9:30 first mike but once I loosened up I felt fantastic and my last mile was about 7:40. Felt great after the firs... read more

Fast and difficult ride home from work. I rode up rt 141 from Northampton Street in Holyoke. That hill is steeper then it looks. A new slightly longer route and it was one of my fastest. Felt good.

Did you go up and over, or cut over to Southampton road?

I've run up and down it, mostly down, a bunch of times. I have a loop I do where I run up Southampton road then take mountain down to rock valley and out

That sounds like a challenging run. I like a good uphill followed by a nice downhill. I have a route like that from Westfield into Granville and back.

Ride into work. i took it a little easier except on the big hills where I was able to stand up and pedal up 2/3 of the hill. I wasn't able to do that even just a few weeks ago.

  15. RUN
    4.22 mi 00:35 08:22 pace

Another slower morning run on a super humid morning. Felt alright.

  16. RUN
    9.15 mi 01:17 08:21 pace

I got a little later start then I intended and it was very warm and humid especially when the sun was out from behind the clouds. Overall this was a great run.

I had my first ride in the rain last week. It caught me with 1.5 miles left in my ride. I thought it was fun. But, I would not find thunderstorm riding fun.

I took the "safest" route home from work and it turns out to also be the longest route. There were less crazy hills. I felt good but now I'm tired.
