      I've only been on that trail twice, both times when I was a kid. Even though each family member carried packs, we didn't go too far and we didn't stay overnight (or do any cliffs!). We got on right near Lake Hope State Park which was a place where we frequently camped or stayed in a cabin. It's so nice there :-)
