  1. RUN
good Highschool Recovery 5 mi 00:38 07:36 pace

Felt decent for as hot as it was out. Heat index is 99 right now in Chicago. Didn't quite feel that bad.

  2. VELO
Finley to Access Road 54.23 mi 02:55 18.6mph pace

Was much harder than I'm used to. Off my form just a bit right now which makes for a few painful moments over this 55 mile ride.

  3. VELO
good Extended Morning Route 39.54 mi 02:16 17.4mph pace

Nice little Friday ride. Had one or two hard intervals in there...

  7. swim
    good Pool Swim 800 yd

4x200 at race pace with paddles to shake up the upper body a bit. Hopefully my swim will be much better at Bigfoot than it was at Leons. That swim cost me 2 minutes and a chance for top 5 in AG. ... read more

  8. VELO
    Morning Route 31.92 mi 01:54 16.8mph pace

Easy TT spin loosening up these legs as I taper for BigFoot

  9. RUN
good Concordia Track 3 mi 00:21 07:06 pace

A bit too hot for my taste but I had to fit in something. Been blocked from a morning workout for 3 days (Monday 6am flight, Tuesday 8am dentist and Wednesday 8am meeting at a client)...

great Horribly Hilly Hundreds (100K) 69.15 mi 04:27 15.5mph pace

  16. RUN
good High School Loop 5.32 mi 00:40 07:33 pace

Nice ride dude! Is that a popular bike route or did you just kind of wing it? I'm from Elmhurst and was always curious what near west suburban folks do for long rides.

John, this is a regular route with the exception of the return which we typically do weekday mornings "Spring Rd". Bluff road is a very common destination for west siders. Nice hill and you can do repeats easily because the return is a loop.
