My intent tonight was to join the club for the first Tuesday night hill climb. Yeah, my first timed event on the hottest day of the year- why not? But everything went wrong- dropped my chain on the way there, and then I found Kennedy Rd was closed. Knowing I'd never make it to Williamsburg, I decided to climb Chesterfield Rd instead. This is most of another climb they do, minus two miles back to Spring St. I think I did pretty well, considering the wind, no draft, and the heat. I did have to stop once due to sweat in my eyes. I can do better.
