Lots of stuff on my mind that killed the mood. I also had to push LB, so my pace was crappy. I wanted to see how fast I could punch out 5 miles for an up coming race. I originally agreed to do this race because I was told there would be no pressure to run it fast. Now that has changed. So, I am going to let the team down. There were other things on my mind too, that have me a bit down. I was hoping the run would help, as it normally does, but I just feel worse. Just not a 'happy time' right now, I guess. We all go through them. I just hope this is short lived. I believe it will be.
My foot and hip hurt (Breaking in a new pair of kicks could be the culprit???) My quad felt fine, however, so that is good. Gonna try to spend the rest of the day cheering myself up.
