This run sucked! I felt sluggish, out of breath and I really wanted to quit a half a mile in. Ughhhh! I wanted to get a long run in yesterday, but woke up with a kink in my neck/shoulder blade and it was killing me all day. Because of that pain, my head started hurting, so needless to say I didn't feel like running. The neck is better today (thank goodness)! So I had to get a run in today no matter what. This was the best I could do. Tough runs make us stronger, right?

But you didn't quit and that is the most important thing. Your pace is really impressive too. I still can't run that on my good day :)

The tough runs make us appreciate the good ones even more! Sometimes it can take me 3 or 4 miles to get warmed up! Great job getting those miles in! Just remind yourself that you have many more awesome runs to look forward to!
