      Cheers Kevin, I put slick tyres on it which seems to have made it a little quicker, and had a totally clear run apart from 1km km so with sand and people in the way:-)

    Made a last minute decision to run this (at 0710 yesterday!), and glad I did. was tough towards the end (along the coast into the wind), but managed a 12 minute PB!

    good Oldham Way Ultra 68.5 km 07:50 11:02 pace

    I won! One of the toughest races I've done, 40 miles of mud rocks and hills (+detours) and I led from about 5 miles. Knackered now tho, race report tomorrow:-)

    Started nice and slow, but picked the pace up through the middle and last thirds. Was pretty tired by the end, legs still not fully recovered from Sunday, but didn't feel too bad.
