A nekkid run today—just shorts (and a GPS watch, but I wasn't looking, I swear). This is my lowest mileage week of the year at little over 17 miles, so I'm raring to get back at it. :)

  10. RUN
good Home Loop Easy 2.5 mi 00:26 10:24 pace

First recovery run since the marathon, and I set my piggies free. I don't think I've ever been this sore, this long, after a run, but once I got out there, it wasn't too bad.

  11. I wrote about my experience of running the Colfax Marathon. And it only took two months to write another blog post.. :) http://runwinkyrun.blogspot.com/2012/05/2012-colfax-marathon.html

Congrats on a superb race, Eric. I read your most excellent blog post but my comment got swallowed by an internet black hole. Your post-marathon state sounded similar to mine - I too needed the help of a good woman in order to walk. Oh, and nice race nails too :)
