Running two days in a row this weekend did a number on this old body of mine. Needed to give my calves 3 days off. Got back out tonight and slowed things right down. It was a gorgeous night to do so. While it felt like I was barely moving, there is no reason for me to be pushing it right now. Slow and steady. My lungs weren't on fire tonight, so I had the pace down right. Still had to pull over once to stretch out the piano wires that are my calves. It's kind of funny how little my body remembers from 4 months ago.
