Aye. This was likely my second last run before hanging up my shoes for a month and a bit. My body is going to appreciate it. My right leg and foot are about ready to call it quits. With each run it takes a bit longer for each to loosen up. I'm like a rusty tank.
Having said all that I'm quite interested in seeing how the race goes beginning Friday night. I'll likely walk the course on Thursday (cause the amount of loops I'll be doing Friday/Saturday won't be enough :P), to see if I will be able to wear my Frees. I do hope I will. It'll save me from wasting a roll of tape on my wonky left ankle.
Anyways, I lost my train of thought and forgot about anything else I was going to put down.
Oh yeah...not sure if I said this before, but I once again saw a dude on a "elliptigo"...sorry, but those things look ridiculous.

How are you feeling after the race. Whats up with no running for a month?

I luckily felt pretty good within a couple of days of the race. After these 24 hours Fri/Sat my season is done. I need to get my body back to start. Got plantar fasciitis back in February, tweaked the muscle behind my calf in May. So I've been running through both. Body just needs time to start over. I took a month at the end of last year and it seemed to do the trick. I want to go heavy mileage this winter with double run days, so just need to recharge the batteries!
