good Thursday Morning Ride 10.68 mi 00:48 13.4mph pace

Annoyingly, I caught a cold, likely from being worn out from the Tri which has left me sneezy and stuffy. It was really hard to get out of bed for this ride but thankfully I had my husband elbowing me in the back, reminding me that I needed to get in the ride this morning so that I could make it home to watch Homeland with friends tonight. So I peeled myself out of bed and got on the road.

Did my normal west direction ride on the crush limestone Prairie Path. I felt like I was able to keep my pace up a little better than lately. Even though I really didn't want to I made myself do a short run at the end. I think every bike ride from now until Lake Geneva will have to be a brick so I can deal with run better than at the Chicago Tri.
