      I think a major focus of this kind of work out is getting your heart rate elevated fairly high and then not resting so long that it drops before you start the next effort. If you're finding it hard and having to rest more often, then you're probably still having the intended effect :)

      Snowy runs for all today replacing LSD run. I did my planned 10 miles nut so much slower due to snow & ice underfoot. Still great to be out running though.

      a very good TM session, a good week of training so far, I think the weather is the bigest problem now, shorten your stride pattern in the snow to avoid doing the splits, I think that the secret.
